For our second year, we were in DC for Thanksgiving. Our school schedule, unfortunately, does not really grant us the 9-15 hours of driving (depending on which family we're seeing) we need to get to see family for the holiday. Thanks to the two pictured below, Blake and I were able to experience a "friends and family" style dinner anyway!

The dinner was potluck style (minus the turkey and stuffing that Cat and Jeff so graciously prepared!) and Blake and I tried a new recipe with a Southern touch. I'll give you a hint...
