The Justice System Works...

...and I say that because we got a parking ticket dismissed!

What a good feeling! We got the ticket back in January, when we'd only had our car for a few weeks. It was late one night and the only parking spot we could find was actually not a spot... it was beside a fire hydrant that had been covered in snow! Oops... we had a ticket the next morning, and we thought we'd better at least try to explain what had happened. I utilized my lawyerly language I'd learned from my first semester of law school, and TA DA!! Ticket dismissed!

I'm feeling very kind toward my new home this afternoon.
