Exploring DC: Dumbarton Oaks National Park!

Ahhh... the end of another work week! I went to court today with my boss. Since our case was called later in the day, I heard many, many hearings in front of one of the judge's there. It was really interesting! You can definitely tell which attorneys paid attention to Mock Trial and Moot Court competitions...

When I got home, Blake had made calzones! They've quickly become one of our favorite meals to make, and Blake made this one ah-maze-ing! It had salami, marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, and sauteed onion, portabella mushroom, and red peppers! We cooked up some spinach (that stuff shrinks up like none other, amirite?) and had a delicious little meal!

Afterward, we took a hike! In the district! We found a cute little park really close by to our apartment. I can't give away too much because we're planning on taking some summer guests there later this summer ;) Here are some pictures we took though!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

  1. Amirite? Is that a Semite person from east of the Jordan River in 2nd millenium BC? No, I think that was an Amorite. ...Looks like a nice park.
